Well what can I say?? It's much more difficult to think like a child than I thought it would be. Putting these 11 problems in order of difficulty has been so much harder than I thought it would be. Now guessing the categories. . .not a cakewalk either. At least I feel like we're learning something.

Wednesday's class

Well after class Wednesday I can say I felt like a complete failure as a parent. At least in terms of math homework. I have always drilled my son to not use his fingers to count that he is supposed to be "adding not counting". Today we learned they are supposed to be using their fingers. OOPS!! The lesson learned here. . . send home a note to parents about the methods the students use in the classroom. What is acceptable and what is not acceptable etc. If I had gotten a note like that my son probably would have gotten through math homework more easily.
